Cristiano Ronaldo's new Al Nassr contract which makes him the highest-paid footballer

Arguably the greatest striker of this generation, Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr on a 2.5-year contract. He is expected to complete the procedure and continue at the club from January 2023.

The prolific striker has become the highest-paid footballer in the world after signing for Al Nassr. He will be earning a massive yearly salary of more than $200 million. This would be the highest salary earned by any footballer.

Cristiano Ronaldo will be paid a yearly club salary of $75 million. The rest of the amount would be covered in endorsement and sponsorship deals.

The 37-year-old striker will be receiving approximately $214 million from the club Al Nassr by the end of his contract. He will be counting more bills just from the commercial deals he has signed.

Although both parties denied rumors of negotiations, CR7 is set to join the Saudi Pro League club till 2025. He will become the highest-paid footballer in the world while playing away from Europe.
