List of 7 Fastest Athletes over 100 Meters 

2017 NBA MVP Russell Westbrook is one of the quickest player in the league. The Point Guard was recorded to have achieved a highest speed of 34.76 km/hr. When adjusted for a 100 meter dash, it came out to be at 12.01 seconds.

Erling Haaland, the hottest property in football at the moment is often called 'Beast' for his physicality.  The Norwegian is one of the fastest forwards in the sport with a top speed of 36 km/hr which comes out to 11.6 seconds over 100 meters. 

Novak Djokovic was revealed to be the fastest tennis player ever. The 21-time Grand Slam champion's highest speed ever recorded was 36.02 km/hr, or 11.5 seconds for a 100 meter sprint.

Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill has cemented his place as one of the fastest active athletes. The Wide Receiver's fastest recorded speed was 37.2 km/hr equivalent to 11.2 seconds over a race for 100 meters, earning him the 4th spot on the list. 

New Zealand great Jonah Lomu is the 3rd fastest recorded athlete. Lomu's fastest speed was 37.4 km/hr which would have seen him run 100 meter in 11.1 seconds. His early demise still haunts many of his fans and lovers of the sport. 

Kylian Mbappe ranks second on the list of the fastest athletes. The 24-year old Frenchman burst onto the scene for his dribbling, finishing and pace. As a non-sprinter, he is the fastest ever with a highest speed of 38.02 km/hr that could see him finish 100 meters in 11 seconds. 

Usain Bolt remains the fastest man alive. His record of finishing 100 meters in 9.58 seconds in the 2009 Berlin World Championships remains unmatched to date. When converted to km/hr it comes out to 44.72, the only athlete to have speed recorded above the 40km/hr mark.
