Green and Sabonis went after a rebound in Q4. Sabonis fell down and grabbed Green's leg. Green shook his leg free and stomped on Sabonis' mid-section.

Sabonis got a technical foul and Green was ejected after referees reviewed the incident using the monitor during the game.

NBA star Damian Lillard, known for his frequent tweets, joked that Sabonis should have fouled and defended Green, insisting he didn't step on the Kings forward on purpose.

O'Neal stated that he wouldn't be a hypocrite and would have done the same as Green when grabbed, explaining the need to defend oneself, but also acknowledging it as a dirty play.
