The NFL is a sport that requires exceptional athleticism to master. So, who is the fastest player in NFL history?

If you ask that question to the new age NFL fans, the answer would be the Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

He even once infamously challenged the Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt for a 40-yard dash race. But despite his confidence and 4.29 speed, the former Super Bowl Champion is not the fastest player to ever play this sport.

The owner of the crown for the fastest player in NFL history is none other than the former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Robert Lee Hayes, also known as Bob Hayes.

Bob Hayes was a former American football player who played in the league for 11 years.

At the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, Bullet Bob won the gold medal by setting the World Record in a 100-meter race with a time of 10.06 seconds. Furthermore, he also won another gold medal in the 4×100 relay race, which also produced a World Record time (39.06 seconds).
