7 Possible opponents for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 39

vs. CM PUNK Steve Austin vs. CM Punk sounds unreal. More likely so, this would be a mega draw, if it ever happens. With rumors of Punk leaving AEW, we can dream big. 

vs. BROCK LESNAR  Lesnar and Austin are two of the biggest names to ever come into existence of professional wrestling. Both men were involved in a heard feud back in the day, however they never actually got into the ring. Next year's Wrestlemania can definitely serve that purpose.

vs. THE ROCK  The Brahma Bull will forever be known as one of the most iconic rivals of The Texas Rattlesnake.They had an epic Wrestlemania trilogy in the past, however it would be great to see them tango against each other once again. With Rock's rumored Wrestlemania 39 involvememnt, we can manifest for Austin vs. Rock IV.

vs. JOHN CENA  Cena and Austin were the poster boys of their respective eras. However, because if that generation gap, they never actually fought each other. The SoFi Stadium next year would love to witness Cena vs. Austin take place.

vs. LOGAN PAUL  The Maverick has won millions of wrestling hearts in his short-lived career until now. He's proven a fact and WWE knows his mainstream authority pretty well. They can put him against Steve Austin at Wrestlemania in an exciting matchup.

vs. RANDY ORTON  Resembling the same by their nicknames, The Viper and The Texas Rattlesnake never crossed paths, quite specifically. Orton is one of the safest workers out there and he would ensure Austin's health primarily, if they ever meet in a match in future.

vs. BARON CORBIN  This may not excite most of the fans. However, if WWE wants to play absolutely safe with Steve Austin, they can certainly line him up against The Modern Day wrestling god. Honestly, Corbin can carry forward their match without making the situation too messy for Austin.

At present, there's being said a lot of "smoke to fire" situation regarding Stone Cold's Wrestlemania plans. We still got around 4 months to go until Wrestlemania and that should be enough to figure out a perfect opponent for The Texas Rattlesnake.
