2022 was an amazing year for new light heavyweight title contender, Jamahal Hill. The youngster had a step up in competition and flatlined two veterans in the same year. His knockout against Johnny Walker was brutal. The Brazilian fell to the canvas after Hill's powerful strike and  it was horrifying to watch the fighter go down like that at UFC Vegas 48

This knockout sealed the title spot for newly-signed Alex Pereira. A brave Sean Strickland, who decided to keep the fight on the feet paid the price by eating the "death of touch" Alex Pereira left-hook finisher. The Brazilian middleweight, who is famous for his left hook punch, put it on display for the first time in front of the UFC fans. This knockout showed the world how much power "Poatan" could generate with a left hook. 

This knockout sure was a bitter-sweet moment for fight fans. Michael Chandler pulled out a devastating front kick to flatline the fan-favorite "El Cucuy" in the second round.
