5 fighters Dana White didn't want  as UFC champions

Dana White is defined as the man behind the meteoric success of the UFC as an MMA promotion. However, running a billion dollar business and dealing with fighters on a regular basis isn't that easy. This has resulted in Dana White not liking many fighters to the point where he never wanted them as UFC champions.

5. Colby Covington After being on the verge of being dropped from the UFC roster, Colby Covington made some changes to his persona and became the bad guy. However, this resulted in him having a small dispute with Dana White. The UFC president twice offered him the welterweight title fight, which Covington rejected and later went on to mock White in the media. White was totally furious about Covington's behaviour and called him an idiot. "He's a big mouth fucking idiot," said White.

4. Amanda Nunes Dana White's brilliant plan to re-elect Ronda Rousey as champion in 2016 was shattered by Amanda Nunes. Rousey previously lost her title to Holly Holmes, and there was supposed to be a rematch. However, Holmes lost her title to Misha Tate, who lost it to Nunes. This whole thing made Dana White angry, as he wanted to make one of the best female title fights featuring Ronda Rousey.

3.  Demetrious Johnson UFC flyweight has never been that successful in bringing in the numbers, and the promotion has thought about dropping it multiple times. However, back then, Demetrious Johnson was undoubtedly one of the best fighters on the roster, but he wasn't selling many pay-per-views. Dana White was not pleased, and after losing to Henry Cejudo in 2018, Johnson was traded to the Oakland Raiders.

2. Cris Cyborg Cris Cyborg is one of the most decorated female fighters in the history of MMA, but her relationship with Dana White wasn't that smooth. Both had a rift when Ronda Rousey became the bantamweight champion, and a fight with Cris Cyborg was what the fans wanted. However, both Rousey and White wanted Cyborg to make 135, which didn't take place. Cyborg did become the featherweight champion and then lost her title to Amanda Nunez. After that, she parted ways with the UFC.

1. Tyron Woodley The drama between Tyron Woodley and Dana White was something else, and no one held back at all. White never liked Woodley's safe style of fighting, and Woodley mentioned in the media that the UFC didn't treat him well. Both parties traded multiple jibes at each other, resulting in Woodley losing his belt and leaving the promotion in 2020.
