5 fighters from TUF who went on to become UFC champions

"The Ultimate Fighter" has been one of the most entertaining reality television shows on the planet, especially for fight fans. However, in addition to providing entertainment, it has produced some of the most talented fighters in the promotion over the years. So let's take a look at some of the graduates who went on to become future champions.

Matt Serra: Matt Serra won his shot at the welterweight championship after winning season 4 of TUF. He shocked the whole MMA community and managed to upset GSP to become the new welterweight champion.

T.J. Dillashaw Dillashaw failed to win season 14 of TUF in the finale against John Dodson. He did, however, earn a shot at the bantamweight championship after racking up six straight victories and finally capturing the gold at UFC 173.

Robert Whittaker During his time on the TUF, he had mixed results. However, he decided to move up the weight classes and broke through the ranks of the middleweight division, even managing to win the championship at UFC 213.

Rose Namajunas The finalist of season 20 was responsible for producing one of the biggest upsets at UFC 217. She destroyed the once-invincible Joanna Jedrzejczyk in the first round and ended her dominant title run.

Michael Bisping  Michael Bisping's UFC career has been rocky ever since he won Season 3 of TUF. However, he managed to get a shot at UFC 199 for the middleweight championship as a last-minute replacement and did manage to win the championship.
