5. Young Nate Diaz at the Ultimate Fighter show Before coming into the UFC, Nate Diaz was a part of The Ultimate Fighter 5, where the Stockton native almost had a physical altercation with a fellow participant. After a heated argument with fighter Karapet Parisyan, Diaz was ready to trade punches with him. It was the first time the fight fans saw what kind of character Diaz was, and the rest is just history.
4. ' I'm not Surprised motherf****' Nate Diaz gave UFC fight fans possibly one of the biggest upsets of all time when he submitted the undefeated Conor McGregor at UFC 196. During the postfight interview, Diaz said, "I'm not surprised, motherf****," which is one of the most iconic lines in UFC history.
3. The real gangster After winning his fight with Anthony Pettis at UFC 241, Diaz called out Jorge Masvidal to settle the debate of who is the real gangster. Diaz had respect for Masvidal, but during his callout, he said, "He ain't no West Coast gangster."
2. Rocked Leon Edwards by a Stockton slap At UFC 263, Nate Diaz fought Leon Edwards in a bloody fight that went for five rounds. Throughout the fight, Edwards was dominating Diaz. However, it was enough to stop the fighter. In the last round, Diaz caught Edwards with a combination that rocked the Brit. When everyone expected him to follow and finish the fight, Diaz decided to mock Edwards by pointing at him.
