Darren Till's painful journey from the top to bottom

Darren Till has experienced a spectacular fall from grace. In the past, 'The Gorilla' was an undefeated fighter with an aura of tangible charisma. He had all of England supporting him as he stormed through the welterweight rankings in search of a world title.

After stringing together a 6 fight undefeated streak. Till managed to land himself a shot at the undisputed welterweight title.

He made a walk at the main event of UFC 228, a spot that is generally reserved for superstars. He was received by the crowd with vigor and passion, which appeared to herald the arrival of a new UFC superstar.

Till tasted defeat by the hands of then champion, Tyron Woodley. Things were never the same since, he moved up to the middleweight division after another loss, and he has just been able to accumulate one victory out of five matches since then.

Injuries had plagued his career and he was unable to get fights. He will be making his first appearance since 2021 at UFC 282. Till, who was once hailed as a potential champion in the making, will be trying to get his first victory in three years.

But now it looks 'The Gorilla' is here to redeem himself. The English fighter is looking to make an epic comeback when he returns to the Octagon at UFC 282 against Dricus Du Plessis.
