Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Jiri Prochazka was all set to run it back against Glover Teixeira in the main event of UFC 282. Fans were really excited for the rematch, because the first one blew everybody's minds out.

Just a few days before the event, Prochazka sustained a career threatening shoulder injury that forced him to relinquish his belt. Jan Balchowicz and Magomed Ankalaev fought for the vacant title and Glover was pushed out from the title picture.

After five rounds of back and forth action, the fight between Blachowicz and Ankalaev was declared as majority draw. Dana White seemed very pissed off with the outcome, and he immediately booked a title fight between Jamahal Hill and Glover Teixeira.

The fight is supposed to take place at UFC 283, but the former champion had some strong words about the matchup. Even though he is very happy that Glover is getting the opportunity to fight in his home town of Rio, he claims Hill doesn't deserve to fight for the title.

Talking about the fight in a recent interview Prochazka said, “I think that’s a good matchup. I don’t know if Hill deserves that opportunity to fight for the title. But for Glover, it’s great because he will fight in Rio, in his home. So that, for him, is very good. I’m looking forward to that fight. I’m looking forward to their performances.”
