The length of UFC fights can vary greatly, ranging from five rounds to being over in the first round.Throughout its existence, the promotion has seen some of the fastest finishes inside the Octagon. Finally, here are the top 5 fastest UFC submission finishes.

Dennis Hallman came up against Matt Hughes at UFC 29 in 2000 in a welterweight bout. It just took 20 seconds to get the win over his opponent by successfully locking in an armbar on him.

Chas Skelly and Maximo Blanco squared off against each other at UFC Fight Night 94. Skelly managed to lock Blanco in an anaconda choke and win the fight via technical submission in just 19 seconds.

Terry Etim fought against Edward Faaloloto at UFC 138. The Englishman made his opponent tap out within 17 seconds to win the submission of the night award.

At UFC fight night 13, Marcus Aurelio and Ryan Roberts competed against each othetap outr. The Brazilian emerged victorious after 16 seconds after making his opponent tapout  to armbar.

Ronda Rousey holds the UFC record for the fastest submission finish. Rousey managed the feat after making Cat Zingano tap within 14 seconds in the main event of UFC 184.
