UFC San Antonio took place this weekend at the AT&T Centre in San Antonio, Texas, United States. The event was stacked with some promising fights and didn't fail to deliver.
In the main card, Cory Sandhagen beat Marlon Vera in a controversial split decision fight. The co-main event between women bantamweights Holly Holm and Ya Santos ended with Holm taking her 15th professional win.

Performance of the Night: Daniel Pineda Pineda came back from hiatus after two years and took on opponent Tucker Lutz for a three-round featherweight bout. Pineda was lethal and dominated the fight from the get-go, dropping Lutz in the first round. In the second round, Pineda got a hold of Lutz in a tight guillotine choke, and it was enough to stop the fight.
Performance of the Night: Nate Landwehr Nate Landwehr won his second professional fight via submission against Austin Lingo. Landwehr was clinical with his finish and submitted his opponent in the second round via a rear naked choke.
Fight of the Night: CJ Vergara vs. Daniel Lacerda CJ Vergara and Daniel Lacerda both took home $50,000 after putting forward the Fight of the Night. Both fought for two rounds, which was enough to keep the fans on their toes. Homegrown hero, Victor Vergara, got a huge applause as he defeated Lacerda via TKO.
