Kerala Blasters FC, also known as The Blasters, is an Indian professional football club based in Kochi, Kerala, that competes in the Indian Super League, India’s top tier of football. The club was founded during the inaugural season of the Indian Super League in May 2014.

The Blasters are one of the most popular clubs in Asia, with one of the largest social media followings among Asian football clubs. Nimmagadda set his sights on the global pharmaceutical industry in June 2005, when he purchased Belgium-based Docpharma as well as a controlling stake in China’s McChem Group. In September 2005, he also formed a joint venture with South Africa’s Aspen Pharmacare and acquired a 43 percent stake in Switzerland’s Explora Laboratories SA.

Chiranjeevi is an Indian actor and former politician best known for his work in Telugu films. He established the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust (CCT) on October 2, 1998, which includes the Chiranjeevi Blood and Eye Banks. It is the largest recipient of blood and eye donations in the state. In addition to acting, he is a film producer and a former politician. He has also made significant investments in a number of real estate properties.
