His presence occurred soon after the venue staged a listening session for his upcoming new album Donda, and it was soon revealed that West’s stay at Mercedes Benz Stadium will be prolonged, as he plans to reside there for the near future.

After announcing two days prior that the first public listening of his much-awaited album will take place, West presented Donda in front of a sold-out audience at the stadium. During the event, which drew out numerous major stars including Rick Ross, Khloe Kardashian, and his former wife Kim Kardashian West, who came up in a red jumpsuit with their children, he barely spoke a word when presenting his new song.

The album is Kanye West’s tenth studio album and is dedicated to his mother, Donda West, who passed away in 2007 at the age of 58 due to repercussions from plastic surgery.

West was seen in the stadium during Atlanta United’s 1-0 defeat to the Crew on Saturday, with the rapper wearing a face mask in the fans’ area. Soon after, rumors surfaced that West was intending to live in the stadium while finishing off his new record, putting together a living quarter and a makeshift studio, and hiring a personal chef.

Donda was initially slated to be released on July 23rd but has been moved back to August 8th.

Pusha T, Travis Scott, Lil Baby, and, most importantly, Jay-Z all appear on West’s tenth album. Jay-Z, West’s longtime buddy and co-collaborator on West’s renowned Watch the Throne album, had a falling out in 2016, but they now look to be on friendly ways, which will be pleasant news to hip-hop aficionados.
