‘Willian has two transfer proposals from Premier League rivals’ says Joorabchian

Kia Joorabchian, Willian’s agent claims the Chelsea player has two definite proposals from Premier League clubs on the table. Willian will make a definitive statement about his future after the season finishes.

It is reported that Chelsea offered Willian the opportunity to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge until 2022. The Brazilian current terms are set to expire in August.

The Brazil International made it known that he’s holding out for an additional year if certain conditions are fulfilled.

In recent times, Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester United and an unknown MLS club have all been linked to the 31-year-old. The Blues proven winger seems likely to make a move on a free transfer head of the 2020-21 campaign.

Kia Joorabchian told reporters on Willian ‘s two transfer proposals:

“I don’t think he’s done a U-turn or any kind of turn. He’s always been very much the same mode.

“We had big offers – one from MLS which required him to move on July 1 – but he’s always wanted to finish the season at Chelsea and the day after the season has finished he would decide.

“He has two concrete offers from Premier League clubs on the table, an offer from an MLS club, and two other offers from Europe.” – Joorabchian told reporters.

“He is going to make his decision after the last game of the season.” – he added.

After leaving the Anzhi Makhachkala team in 2013, the English Premier League club agreed a deal to sign Willian for a fee of £30 million. Since then, Willian has made 339 games for Chelsea, hitting 63 goals and registering 62 assists.

Willian played 47 times this season, helping Frank Lampard’s team achieve a top-four position in the Premier League. The Brazilian also aided the Blues to make it to the final of the FA Cup.

In Champions League, the Blues can still have a chance of making it to quarter finals if they outweigh Bayern Munich in the second leg after their shambolic 3-0 defeat in the first leg of Round of 16.
