The North London outfit, on the back of their brilliant victory against Champions Manchester City, ingressed the stage of the Molineux with an eye for another three points to maintain their perfect start of the Premier League campaign. The game kicked off in a perfect fashion for the visitors as the referee Stuart Attwell pointed to the sport as the Spurs glovesman Jose Sa fouled Dele Alli in the box. The 25-year-old English midfielder lotted in from the 12 yards to break the deadlock on the 9th-minute mark. However, the hosts were far from out of the game and were constantly trying to make things happen with Barcelona loanee Fransisco Trincao and Adama Traore were causing all sorts of problems to the Spurs rearguard from the wings.

The Lillywhites were much of a counter-attacking threat as the game progressed as the hosts continued to win the midfield battles and were resolute to make things happen. However, the deficiency of killer instinct in the final third cost them despite creating a plethora of chances. Nuno’s side succeeded in grinding out the result as they move ahead in the table.
