Petra Kvitova continues to fight harder and prove her mettle as she moves into the quarter-final after consecutive 3-set victories at the Bad Homburg Open 2021. Kvitvoa won 6-2, 6-7(4), 6-1 in her Round of 16 clash playing against Ann Li and advances into her 4th quarter-final of the year and her 1st on Grass this season as this is her debut tournament on the surface.
Kvitova has won only 1 quarter-final of her previous three however which she won during her title run at the 2021 Qatar Ladies Open. With the Wimbledon 2021 approaching fast, she would like to have some more wins as she prepares to enter the tournament as the 11th-seed.
