WWE’s plans for Becky Lynch’s future possible revealed – Reports

Becky Lynch shocked the world by returning to WWE after a 1 year hiatus due to pregnancy. Summerslam 2021 saw the Man return and squash Bianca Belair in 27 seconds and become the new Smackdown Women’s Champion. This marked Lynch’s fifth women’s title win and her return was one of the best moments of the year.

Now, PWInsider has reported WWE’s immediate plans for Becky Lynch on Smackdown. As per reports, Lynch will be becoming the top heel of Smackdown and her next feud will be with the EST of WWE, Bianca Belair. Reports also suggest that Sasha Banks will be kept off WWE TV till this feud ends.

Lynch was speculated to return to WWE for months and that too on WWE Raw. But after Sasha Banks was not able to perform at Summerslam, WWE immediately planned to bring Lynch to Smackdown and turn her heel. Now that she is the Smackdown Women’s Champion, her heel turn will possibly make sense.

What could be the future of Becky Lynch as a heel?

Now that reports suggest that Becky Lynch will turn heel, the most sensible storyline for the Man after Bianca Belair will be her aligning with her husband Seth Rollins who is another top heel on Smackdown. This could lead to a great mixed tag team storyline and will also give time to WWE so that they can develop other superstars as challengers.

Seth Rollins had battled Edge at WWE Summerslam 2021 and if he continues this feud, Lynch aligning with Rollins will be a great moment to bring Beth Phoenix back. This could lead to a mixed tag team match between the power couple of WWE and the Hall of Fame couple.
