“He gave me a lot of great advice”; When Bianca Belair revealed details about her chat with WWE legend at Summerslam 2021

Becky Lynch made her grand return from maternity leave back in 2021 at Summerslam. Bianca Belair was scheduled to defend her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks but due to an injury, the Boss couldn’t compete. Carmella was then announced as the new challenger when  Becky Lynch made her memorable return and attacked Carmella. She then stood face-to-face with the Smackdown Women’s Champion and then challenged the EST of WWE. Belair accepted and the match took off.

Lynch delivered a slam in the start and became the new Smackdown Women’s Champion. The match was a squash for Bianca Belair’s impressive title reign after the Man defeated the EST of WWE in 26 seconds. The match was very controversial and the end brought many people question WWE’s booking decisions.

Bianca Belair, who lost the match and her major championship run in mere 26 seconds, was also devastated with the booking. The EST of WWE had tears in the eyes everytime she talked about it earlier which also showed how her push for 6 months was completely turned down.

Bianca Belair had a life-changing chat with John Cena after the match was over

After her loss to Becky Lynch, Belair was unhappy but got the opportunity to meet franchise player John Cena who had also lost his returning singles match for the Universal Championship to Roman Reigns on the same night. The multiple time world champion gave some important points which Belair could use to take her career to a whole different level. Here’s what Belair said during an interview with Alex McCarthy:

“I really got to talk with John Cena a lot after the 26 seconds moment at SummerSlam. He really just gave me a lot of great advice and keep the right perspective of everything. Basically, the gist of what he said was ‘moments like this you can really use to propel you. You see how much the fans really get behind you.’ For me, out of that, I was able to look at the longer picture, the bigger picture, and hopefully, one day, it’ll come back full circle; who knows” – Sportskeeda
