The megastar signed a developmental contract with WWE in 2013 and the next year she aligned herself with Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, by becoming their manager. She made her main roster debut in 2016, on Smackdown. Soon, she displayed her dancing persona and started doing fun for the WWE Universe. Fans loved her for her entertaining character.
Carmella became the winner of the inaugural Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match in 2017. She went on to become the first woman in WWE history to successfully cash-in her MITB contract. Carmella defeated Charlotte Flair to become the Smackdown Women’s Champion. This got her to the top of the pro-wrestling industry and earned her a lot of fame.
In 2019, Carmella went on to win the Wrestlemania Women’s Battle Royal and fans loved her for the performances. Soon, she disappeared from WWE and returned to the company as a heel and the self proclaimed ‘Most Beautiful women in all of WWE’. She then paired with Zelina Vega to become the Women’s Tag Team Champion and also battled for the Women’s Championships.
