Andrade has finally made his long-awaited debut on All Elite Wrestling. His WWE release was granted in March 2021, and he was under a non-compete period. Fans had been eagerly waiting for his next big move, and the wait was finally over, as Andrade made his big debut on AEW Dynamite.

One thing that excited the fans even more, was that Andrade will be working with the legendary manager Vicky Guerrero. On his debut, Andrade delivered a short-yet impactful promo where he vowed to become the face of the entire company.

As soon as the former WWE United States Champion made his debut, his ladylove, WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair took to Twitter to post a heartfelt message. Just like the fans, even “The Queen” couldn’t contain her excitement.

The Mexican star had signed with WWE in 2015 and captured the NXT Championship in 2017. He soon moved to the main roster but failed to become as successful as he was on the black-and-gold brand, with only a couple of memorable matches against Rey Mysterio. His six-year stint with the company finally ended in 2021, when he requested release due to creative disagreements.

Charlotte Flair, on the other hand, currently performs on WWE’s Red brand. She is involved in a feud against Rhea Ripley, and is scheduled to face her for the Raw Women’s Championship at Hell in a Cell. The feud also involves former Raw Women’s Champion Asuka.

The former WWE Superstar signing with AEW has surprised the fans because he had signed with AAA in Mexico. But they have a working relationship with AEW, which allows his appearance on both the promotions.

He is currently scheduled to face the AAA Mega Champion Kenny Omega at TripleMania XXI. If he manages to defeat Omega, we could see him challenging for the AEW Championship. Additionally, he also has matches lined up with Penta El Zero or Rey Fenix, subject to return from injury.

Feuds against the likes of Hangman Page and Eddie Kingston can also be blockbuster encounters for the newest addition to the AEW roster.
