Balor and Zayn

WWE Crown Jewel 2021 is just a couple of days away. Several top Championships are on the line, and a couple of stipulation matches are a part of the card too. In addition to this, two tournaments will also be concluding at the Saudi Arabia event. A new King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown winners will be emerging at WWE Crown Jewel 2021.

The King of the Ring tournament kicked off a couple of weeks ago on Smackdown. After a series of qualifying matches – we now have one finalist. Finn Balor is just one step away from being crowned the King of the Ring. Finn Balor had defeated Cesaro in the opening round to qualify for the semi-finals. Similarly, Sami Zayn defeated Rey Mysterio to qualify for the same round.

On the latest episode of WWE Smackdown, Zayn and Balor battled for a spot in the finale. The Prince emerged victorious in the brutal bout to get booked for a match at Crown Jewel. He is now one of the favorites to go the entire distance and win the King of the Ring tournament.

Finn Balor was recently drafted to Raw from Smackdown. Reportedly, he will be pushed massively and winning the tournament might be the first step in this direction. Inarguably, Balor is one of the top performers in the company today. Unfortunately, he missed out on a well earned opportunity to win the Universal Championship as the company was pushing Roman Reigns as the top star of the company. But with now Balor moving to a different brand, he might be set for a Championship reign.

Balor might face Xavier Woods at WWE Crown Jewel 2021

Woods

There is still no clarity on whom Finn Balor will be facing in the King of the Ring finals at WWE Crown Jewel 2021. A semi-final round is scheduled for the upcoming episode of WWE Raw. Xavier Woods will be battling against Jinder Mahal. Woods defeated Ricochet in the upcoming round, whereas Jinder Mahal defeated Kofi Kingston.

Considering the latest performances, Woods is a top contender to qualify for the finals. On a recent 7-team Tag Team turmoil match, Woods emerged as a top performer and could even pip out Balor to win the tournament.
