WWE Crown Jewel 2021 has almost arrived and it seems like that WWE might have a major surprise in store ahead of the big event in Saudi Arabia. One of the biggest matches on the card, which could well be a Wrestlemania main event, is the Smackdown Women’s Championship match. The title from the Blue brand will see three of the biggest Superstars in action.
Becky Lynch will be putting the title on the line against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. But there is a possibility that another title could be added to this match. The Raw Women’s Championship could also be added to the match, making it a winner takes all match. This is a possibility that has opened up since WWE announced the card for the upcoming episode of WWE Raw.
Bianca Belair, who was recently drafted to the Red brand, will be challenging Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women’s Championship. Interestingly, Flair is the Red brand Champion but was drafted to Smackdown, whereas the Blue Brand Champion – Becky Lynch, was drafted to Raw. But the WWE Draft will be coming into effect after WWE Crown Jewel 2021, and till then fans are enjoying cross-brand appearances from the Superstars.
In case, Bianca Belair wins the Raw Women’s Championship two things will happen. Firstly, the Championship will stay on the Red brand. Additionally, Belair will also walk into Crown Jewel as a Champion – opening up the possibility of a winner-takes-all match.
Can Charlotte Flair be added to the match at WWE Crown Jewel 2021?
In case, Charlotte Flair loses the Raw Women’s Championship, she is most definitely going to come after the Smackdown Women’s Championship. In fact, she might not want to wait for long and might add herself to the triple threat match at WWE Crown Jewel 2021. But from a logistical point of view, WWE might not add Flair to the match.
Smackdown takes place just a day after Crown Jewel, and WWE knows from experience that a slight delay in flights will prevent Superstars from appearing for the Blue brand show. Hence, WWE will not prefer to take all of their top Superstars to Saudi Arabia. On the other hand, if Flair and Lynch, both retain their titles, they might just switch their titles.
