WWE Money in the Bank is returning early this year, and will also be the first PPV to welcome back the live fans, since the resumption of WWE live events. WWE is leaving no stone unturned for getting the fans hyped up for the event.

The stipulation was introduced at Wrestlemania 21, way back in 2005. For half a decade, the ladder matches for grabbing the prestigious briefcase, became a regular fixture for the Showcase of Immortals. In 2010, the growing popularity of the matches encouraged WWE to introduce a whole new PPV around WWE Money in the Bank.

Another landmark point in the history of MITB was in 2017, when the women’s division too, got their own ladder match. One of the Superstars, who holds a 100% record in these ladder matches is Alexa Bliss. So far, she has only appeared in the 2018 Money in the Bank ladder match, and had emerged victorious in the same.

In 2018, Bliss participated in the first Money in the Bank ladder match of her career and emerged victorious in the same. What made the victory even more sweeter was the fact that she defeated the top Superstars from the roster – Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Lana, Ember Moon, Natalya, Naomi and Sasha Banks.

Bliss also successfully cashed in her MITB contract. During a match between Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey, Bliss interfered. She cashed in her contract against Jax, becoming the new Raw Women’s Championship. This year Bliss will be participating in the MITB ladder match again.
