The WWE Network app will be shutting down in the US on 4th April, 2021. The entire selection of WWE content would become a part of Peacock, the NBCUniversal streaming service. The new portal will launch on Peacock on 18th March, 2021.

The current subscribers of the WWE Network would be able to use the app for streaming WWE Fastlane, but for Wrestlemania 37, Peacock will be their only choice. There is no way to transfer the WWE Network subscription to Peacock, but the subscribers can avail an exclusive deal for joining Peacock.

A new WWE tab will be available on the Peacock browse section. Once that is selected, the carousel of featured shows and events will be displayed, similar to the WWE Network. It is reported that WWE and Peacock will be in constant communication to decide which content to highlight.

Subscribers have to wait a few months for all the pay-per-views

The giant vault of WWE Network, which features PPV’s from WWE, WCW and ECW, won’t be available on Peacock from day one. The company has promised that all these shows would be available before Summerslam 2021, which is scheduled to take place in August.

Peacock recently mentioned that pretty much everything will be available on the WWE Network. But the transition will take time. For the launch, the subscriber would be able to access the following:

  • Every PPV in the last calendar year
  • Most recent episodes of The Broken Skull Sessions, WWE Chronicle and WWE Icons
  • Weekly episodes of NXT, a day after they air
  • 2021 replays of Raw and Smackdown, 30 days after they air
  • Documentaries – The Last Ride, WWE 24 and WWE Untold
  • Reality shows including Total Bellas
  • Topical moments
  • Playlists showcasing current Superstars

WWE subscribers will get a special discount on Peacock

The WWE Network subscribers can avail an exclusive discount. They can get four months of Peacock Premium for a flat $9.99, amounting to $2.50 per month. Peacock Premium usually costs $4.99 per month, which is way less than WWE Network’s $9.99 per month.
