The road to WrestleMania is truly heating up as Roman Reigns finds himself in the middle of all the mess. Randy Orton and LA Knight are leaving no stone unturned to get their hands on the Tribal Chief. However, one more superstar wants Reigns all for himself; that superstar is the Phenomenal One, AJ Styles.
AJ made his return on last week’s episode of SmackDown, helping Orton and Knight fend off the Bloodline. All three of the top superstars stood tall against the Bloodline until, to all people’s shock, Styles brutally attacked Knight to end the show. Even Reigns and Randy Orton were shocked to see his new behavior. Now, he explained his reason for doing what he did.
I don't give a damn about Randy Orton and LA Knight. Understand this, I am number one when it comes to getting these hands on Roman Reigns. I... I want Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble.AJ Styles on SmackDown
Styles addressed the WWE Universe and said he has only one target: Roman Reigns. The 46-year-old further said he doesn’t care about what Orton and Knight want and would like them to stay out of his way. He was then interrupted by the Viper and the Megastar.
As their conversation got heated, SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis came out and announced a huge match in two weeks. Styles will clash with Knight and Orton in a Triple Threat match in the New Year’s Evolution episode of SmackDown. It will be interesting to see who comes out at the top and battles Reigns at the Royal Rumble.
AJ Styles shows his dark side with completely new attire on SmackDown
AJ Styles made his return at last week’s episode of SmackDown. At first, everyone thought he had returned to help Knight and Orton. However, fans were left shocked as he immediately turned heel by attacking Knight to close the show.
When Styles came out for a promo this week, he completely changed his appearance. Instead of his colorful jacket and gloves, he came out with a long black coat, unleashing his mean and dark side. The 46-year-old also looked in great shape after his injury.
Styles was out with an injury for 2 months after an attack from Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. Now to take revenge, he has set his eyes on the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, but he will have to go through Orton and Knight to get his hands on the title. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the ‘Heel’ AJ Styles.
