Kevin Owens in an interview with TalkSPORT, talked about Triple H and his role in hiring the top independent wrestlers:

“I wasn’t surprised when I met him that he was a guy who was all about growing the industry and giving people a chance. He proved my assumptions right many times over the past few years and a lot of us – a lot of us – wouldn’t be here without him.”

He also said that he never got the vibe Triple-H being a man burying the new stars, something The Game was very infamous for:

“There was always this reputation about him, right? I always thought he was really good at what he did and to me, he always elevated the shows he was on and the people he was working with so I never really got that vibe of the reputation”.

It is hard to imagine Kevin Owens without a Wrestlemania. The host of KO show has appeared on the ‘grandest stage of them all’ six times and even main-evented the night one of this year’s Wrestlemania in a dream match against ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. Opening up on his thoughts on his dream come true outing with Steve Austin at WrestleMania 38, Kevin Owens said:

“Me and him together, singles match at WrestleMania, it does not get bigger than that as far as sentimental value goes, right? Except, look at what happened this year. Unreal,”

He won the US Title against Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 33, and was involved in a feud involving the likes of Daniel Bryan, Shane McMahon and Sami Zayn at Wrestlemania 34. While he talks about his other Wrestlemania outings including the one he missed, Kevin holds his match against Sami Zayn in high regards and even says that he never thought his match against his off-screen best friend would have been topped by anything else:

“I’ve had pretty incredible WrestleManias… But I’ve won the United States title from Chris Jericho at WrestleMania, I was in the ring for Daniel Bryan’s return at WrestleMania 34, WrestleMania 35 came and went, but then I worked Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 36, a man I’ve been up and down the roads with and I know so well. Then I had him [points to Sami Zayn] at WrestleMania 37 and I didn’t think we’d top last year.”
