“I was the next guy after The Undertaker”: Randy Orton assures that he isn’t going anywhere away from WWE just like The Deadman

Randy Orton has just marked the landmark of spending 20 years of his life’s journey in WWE. Randy Orton has stated in a YouTube video that he hasn’t any intentions of leaving WWE, similar to what The Undertaker has done. He also discussed about some of his greatest moments in his wrestling career in the video itself. When the video was coming to an end, he showed the confidence to put himself in the same position with none other than the legendary Hall of Famer The Undertaker.
“You know, a lot of people ask me what my legacy will be? I think, if we are talking WWE, more specifically. My legacy will be, that I was the next guy after The Undertaker, that was the only person that never went anywhere else, and had more matches, more titles, more accolades,” said Orton.
How was the relationship between Randy Orton and The Undertaker?
The immense respect which Randy Orton has in his inner self for the Undertaker is unmatchable. Though all other superstars have the same thing towards the DeadMan, it is something large for the picture of Randy. The Viper had also targeted to end Undertaker’s winning streak back in 2005, when both men were engaged in a fierce rivalry. Though being unable to break the streak, Randy Orton successfully cut through the glass when he defeated Undertaker in SummerSlam that year.
The boiling feud between the two men seemed never ending but it ended with a banging victory of the Undertaker in Hell In A Cell match in 2005. Orton is the current RAW tag team champion along with Riddle, and also has several accolades after his name, such as 14 time world champion, winning royal rumble match twice, and also successfully climbing up the ladder and become the Money in the Bank holder.
Randy has clarified firmly that he wants to put an end to his career stepping in the ring for the last time as a performer of this company only. Doing all the business on his shoulders, Orton wants to leave his boots in the ring after being active for a considerable time in the main roster.
