Kurt Angle and John Cena

John Cena is one of the biggest names in the WWE universe. Even those who rarely watch the wrestling entertainment show, recognize Cena, given that he is also a huge Hollywood star. In short, Cena has become a significant part of mainstream culture. He has achieved nearly everything possible in pro wrestling, which gave him a kickstart to a successful Hollywood career.

WWE is currently commemorating John Cena’s 20th anniversary in the company. While celebrating, the organization reminds its social media followers of how far The Leader Of Cenation has come in his career. Cena’s career began in 2002 with a match against Kurt Angle, which put him on the map. When Vince McMahon saw John Cena for the first time, he had some fascinating things to say about him.

The 45-year-old former WWE champion can be seen reacting to his debut match against Kurt Angle in a video posted by WWE. While watching the clip, Cena revealed what the WWE Chairman Vince McMahon demanded from him.

He said, “I found out at 2:45 in the afternoon that I’d be wrestling Kurt Angle. I had one meeting with Mr. McMahon before this, and I was pushed into his office and Michael Hayes asked like, ‘What do we do with this?’, and Mr. McMahon’s first sentence to me – it was a short meeting – he said, ‘Cut his f*cking hair’, and then I was out of the office.”
