Triple H is a very big name in the WWE Universe. Triple H has spent all his professional career dedicated to WWE. From being one of the most controversial players to being the creative head of the company, he has come a long way. With his numerous feuds with the superstars, he is often known for his great on screen rivalries.
Triple H has headlined numerous pay per view events and has been the title holder for almost all the titles existing during his peak career. His greatest rivals include Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, Mick Foley, The Rock among many others. His rivalry with the Rock is highly loved by the WWE audience all across the globe.
Triple H vs The Rock couldn’t take place since 2000
“My only regret of the whole thing with Rock is in 2000, we were poised to have a match at WrestleMania one-on-one. I think that would’ve been an epic thing for both of us in that moment,” said Triple H. The Rock had won the 2000 Royal Rumble and HHH had won the Heavyweight Championship. The match between the two winners would turn out to be amazing.
It was expected that the two would face each other at SummerSlam but eventually, the Singles match turned into a Triple Match which also included Kurt Angle. This officially ended the rivalry between HHH and the Rock. Triple H is regretting over the fact that he couldn’t face the Rock in a singles match at a main event.
The two were also not the best players in the company. The Undertaker was the most liked personality who went against ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. It was obvious that if the Undertaker and Steve will face each other, Triple H and the Rock will be taken out of the limelight. For this reason, the two planned to have a match later but the schedules of the two couldn’t match owing to the Rock stuck in his Hollywood timings and Triple H in his WWE management.
