Charlotte Flair is one of the most decorated female superstars in WWE history having been the constant mainstay of Women’s division Championship picture. She is a former 6-time Raw Women’s Champion, also she’s won the Smackdown Women’s Championship the exact number of times too. Prior to joining the WWE main-roster Flair was a 2-time NXT Women’s Champion.
Charlotte was involved in a highly personal feud with Ronda Rousey earlier this year which got culminated at the Wrestlemania Backlash premium-live-event where Rousey finally won the Smackdown Women’s Championship from Flair in a vicious “I Quit” match. After this, WWE announced an injury to Charlotte which was a part of the storyline inorder to give Charlotte a break from WWE.
Shortly after going on a hiatus, Charlotte Flair married his fiance and current AEW superstar Andrade El Edolo in a beautiful ceremony with several of their close relatives blessing the couple with their presence. Rey Mysterio and his wife also attended the auspicious occasion of their wedding. Although his husband Andrade has returned to television in AEW, Charlotte Flair is yet to show up in WWE ever since going on a break since May.
What would be the ideal scenario for Charlotte Flair’s WWE return?
With many of the bigger WWE premium-live-events approaching, the need of bigger stars to be on the television is definitely going to be a key moving forward. The upcoming Money in the Bank PLE will emanate from a downgraded venue of MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas which was previously scheduled to be an Allegiant Stadium show and following that is the annual Summerslam event scheduled to take place on July 30th from the Nissan Stadium in Nashville. Let’s discuss the two scenarios of Charlotte Flair’s possible return to WWE television one by one.
The first one could be her return directly at the Money in the Bank event as the 7th participant in the Women’s MITB ladder match if somehow WWE decides to keep this spot as a secret until the show. Now if Charlotte really ends up being in the ladder match, there’s absolutely no chance she’s losing that thing.
The next possible thing WWE could do and which is a more likely scenario than the above mentioned case is to make her return on the Smackdown after Money in the Bank against Ronda Rousey where she will assert her claim for a championship rematch at Summerslam one more time.
Although this may sound highly repetitive as the WWE Universe have already seen them wrestle twice in this year only. But if some reports were to be believed, Charlotte Flair will definitely return take her revenge over the brutal beating she received by the hands of Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania Backlash in May this year.
