The date is on a Friday, hinting that WWE Smackdown will be the first show to welcome a live audience, since Wrestlemania 37. This indicates that in the coming months WWE will be moving out of their Thunderdome.

While no confirmation has been made by WWE, the reports suggested that the audience will be allowed to attend shows from 16th – 19th July. This could mean that WWE is planning to have live audience for one episode of Raw and Smackdown each, with two live events during the weekend.

Besides Wrestlemania 37, WWE TV last had live fans in attendance on the March 9th, 2020 episode of WWE Raw. Whereas the last PPV with fans in attendance was the WWE Elimination Chamber.
