Ronda Rousey defeated Sonya Deville in her first ever match on Smackdown

Ronda Rousey made an appearance on this week’s Friday Night SmackDown and battled WWE Official Sonya Deville in her fist ever match on the blue brand. This was also the first ever singles match she featured in since 2019 which was a huge deal fit the WWE Universe.

The match saw Ronda Rousey and Deville battle each other in a huge singles match but Charlotte Flair couldn’t keep herself backstage and came out to distract Ronda Rousey which led to Deville attacking the leg of the Rowdy One. But still, Ronda Rousey was able to take the WWE official down and make her tap out to the arm bar. This also led to Rousey locking in the ankle lock on Flair which she tapped out to.

Now that Rousey is set to battle the SmackDown Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair in just 4 weeks, the WWE Universe cannot wait to witness the two top women battle in singles competition once again. The two will main event night one of WrestleMania 38 and will look on to culminate their rivalry once and for all.

The 38th edition of the Grandest Stage of them All has some huge matches from the women’s division which could change the landscape of the women’s wrestling industry. One of them is the Women’s Tag Team Championship match which will feature Carmella and Queen Zelina defend the titles against the team of Sasha Banks and Naomi.

Plus, the Raw Women’s Championship will be on the line when Big Time Becks will be challenged by the winner of the 2022 Women’s Elimination Chamber match, Bianca Belair. The match has been called the biggest match of WWE history by Lynch and that could be true because the only two women to pick up a win in the main event of WrestleMania will battle each other.
