Ryback

Ryback is an American professional wrestler who is best known for his time on WWE. He was one of the finalists of WWE’s Tough Enough 4, earning a developmental contract with the company. He was a part of the first season of NXT and according to the storyline, he went on to debut on the main roster as a part of the Team Nexus.

While he was considered to be one of the most dominant Superstars on the roster, he failed to win any major titles in the company. Throughout his WWE tenure, Ryback just won the Intercontinental Championship once. But lack of equal pay in the company and creative frustration ultimately led to his departure from the company. In 2016, he was released from the company.

Since then, he has been performing on the independent scene. Ryback had even teased an appearance on WWE’s biggest competitor currently, All Elite Wrestling, but he is yet to appear for them. Interestingly, since his release from the company, the former WWE Superstar has been consistently critical of the way WWE treats their talent.

Former Intercontinental Champion

On The Ryback Show, the former Intercontinental Champion revealed the one condition on which he could return to the company. Unfortunately, the condition is such that it seems quite unlikely that the former WWE Superstar will ever return to the company. He mentioned that he would return to the company only when Vince McMahon is no longer the owner.

“I will be very open to going back to WWE if they are sold. I’ve always been very honest. If Vince is out of there and there’s new leadership, I will then be very interested in revisiting that, because that will be beneficial for me,” mentioned the former WWE Superstar.

Interestingly, WWE has been on a releasing spree. Some of the major Superstars of the company including Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt and Nia Jax were recently released from the company owing to the budget cuts. Reportedly, these releases were due to a potential selling of the company. But there hasn’t been any further updates on this.
