Sasha Banks Extreme Rules debut came in 2017 where she with Rich Swann defeated Alicia Fox and Naom Dar in a mixed tag team match. In 2020, Banks performed in her second match at the event where she challenged Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship.

The result was controversial as the referee was taken out during the match when Banks’ friend Bayley put over the referee’s shirt and got Banks the victory. But in the end, the match was announced to end in no contest and Asuka retained the title.
