Cristiano Ronaldo is arguably the greatest footballer of all time. The Manchester United ace recently returned to Old Trafford after 12 years, for his second stint with the legendary club. He has been banging in the goals both on the International and club stage, but Manu are stuck in a bit of a rut now.
Elsewhere, in a recent interview with BT Sport, WWE Superstar Sheamus gave his verdict on Cristiano Ronaldo being one of the greatest players of all time. A Liverpool fan all along, Sheamus claimed that Ronaldo “is one of the best in the last decade and not one of the best ever.”
He then went on to speak about how CR7 would perform in WWE. ‘The Celtic Warrior’ stated that Ronaldo wouldn’t last 5 seconds in the ring since he was too soft and lacked physicality.
“He’s got the showmanship but nothing else” – Sheamus on Cristiano Ronaldo
Sheamus was quoted as saying, “He wouldn’t last five seconds in the rind, he’s too soft, he’s too soft. Those players go down, when the wind blows, or a blade of grass hits their shin. They wouldn’t last even a few minutes. I mean he’s got the showmanship but nothing else. I mean he’s got no physicality.” [firstsportz.com]
Ronaldo hit a blank as Manchester United lost to Leicester City in Matchday 8. United have looked out of sorts of late, and Ole out is gathering force as the days go by. With that defeat, their unbeaten away record also came to an end. They will be facing Liverpool next week.
Sheamus, on the other hand, has been struggling with a broken nose. A couple of weeks ago, he underwent surgery on his nose for the second time. It all started when he had his nose smashed during a United States Championship clash against Matt Riddle back in March, this year.
