Stephanie McMahon is a former professional wrestler and currently serves as the Chief Brand Officer of WWE. Even when not working actively on-screen, McMahon does some tremendous work behind the scenes for the company. McMahon has held the position since 2013.
Stephanie McMahon is responsible for enhancing the brand reputation of WWE among their key stakeholders. In addition to this, the daughter of WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon, is also the lead ambassador of the company and works for the supporting the key growth initiatives.
McMahon’s efforts were recently recognized by Forbes. She secured the second spot in the ninth annual ranking of Forbes’ World’s Most Influential Chief Marketing Officers. From a distinguished pool of over 500 CMOs and brand candidates, Forbes recognized the top 50 CMOs who are shaping business, culture and the society. The list even includes leaders from some of the biggest global brands like Netflix, Apple, Amazon, Facebook and Walmart among others.
Stephanie McMahon might soon appear on WWE TV
The Chief Brand Officer of WWE, even when not actively involved on the storylines, makes it a point to appear on the shows, to announce the WWE Draft. This year the draft will be taking place over two nights. Some major surprises are expected at this year’s Draft, considering the massive starpower that is on Blue brand, and the declining Raw ratings.
While Stephanie McMahon has been announcing the Draft every year, it still isn’t confirmed if she will be appearing this year. With Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville playing the on-screen authority roles, the announcement could be made by them this year.
WWE Draft 2021 begins on Smackdown – 1st October and continues through Raw – 4th October.
