WWE Survivor Series 2021 is less than a fortnight away and the build to the final of the “Big Four” WWE events has finally begun. This is the only event on the WWE calendar where both the main roster brands collide against each other for brand supremacy. The Champions from both the brands collide in a Champion vs Champion match.
But the event is highlighted by the 5-on-5 Men’s and Women’s Elimination Tag Team match. While initially the shows used to feature several qualifying matches, this year WWE decided to do things differently. They focussed more on brand-specific storylines, and just announced the teams recently.
The Men’s Team Raw initially featured – Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Rey and Dominik Mysterio. The team clearly had an advantage over their Blue counterparts, considering it featured former World Champions, barring Dominik Mysterio. As fate would have it, Dom ended up losing his spot on the team at WWE Survivor Series 2021 to former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.
On the latest episode of WWE Raw, official Adam Pearce called out The Mysterios. He mentioned that he wants Team Raw to win and hence he put former Champions in the Red team. But Dom had to prove his selection by winning a match against Bobby Lashley. The All Mightya One picked up a dominant win to become a part of the Men’s Raw Team. The Team now includes:
- Seth Rollins
- Finn Balor
- Kevin Owens
- Rey Mysterio
- Bobby Lashley
They will be going against Team Smackdown which features:
- Drew McIntyre
- Jeff Hardy
- Sami Zayn
- Happy Corbin
- King Woods
WWE Survivor Series 2021 full match card
In addition to the Men’s Elimination Tag Team match, the Women’s Elimination match will also be taking place. Women’s Team Raw features:
- Bianca Belair
- Rhea Ripley
- Liv Morgan
- Carmella
- Queen Zelina
The Smackdown Women’s Team features:
- Sasha Banks
- Shayna Baszler
- Shotzi Blackheart
- Natalya
- Aliyah
Apart from these two matches, several Champion vs Champion matches are also going to be a part of the card.
