WWE Hall of Famer discusses the idea of facing Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks is one of the most loved Superstars in the professional wrestling industry today. She is a 6-time WWE World Champion and has held the top titles on NXT, Raw and Smackdown – including the Tag Team Gold. Banks is considered to be one of the Four Horsewomen of WWE. Throughout her career she has won several accolades – Banks headlined the first iron woman match in WWE history and more recently, she and Bianca Belair headlined the night one of Wrestlemania 37.

The Boss has been with the company since 2012, and has been part of some major rivalries with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Bayley – the remaining members of the iconic Four Horsewomen. Her rivalry with “The Rolemodel” Bayley is one of the most iconic one in the recent times. While she has faced several top Superstars throughout her career, there is one dream opponent for Sasha Banks – WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.

Trish Stratus is a Canadian professional wrestler, who is often regarded as one of the greatest women’s performers in the industry. She is popular for her time with WWE. She had won the WWE Women’s Championship 17-times, before announcing her retirement from full-time professional wrestling in 2006. Since then, Stratus has made some sporadic appearances and was even in seen in action at Royal Rumble.

The Boss has challenged Trish Stratus on several occasions. While the WWE Universe has loved the idea of this rivalry, but it never came to fruition. Finally, Stratus responded to this idea for the first time, during an interview with Toronto’s VIBE 105 Sports. She pointed out the fact that the fans have been supporting this idea since Royal Rumble, when Banks and Stratus had a little face-off. While Stratus did not reveal if she is open to this feud, but did call Banks “an amazing athlete” and called the idea “appealing”.

Sasha Banks is a part of Team Smackdown for WWE Survivor Series 2021

WWE is gearing for their next big event of the year – Survivor Series. The event is popular for the brand wars between Raw and Smackdown. 5 Superstars from both the brands collide in a Elimination Tag Team match. This year, Sasha Banks will be representing the Team Smackdown. Her team includes:
