Damian Priest defeats Sheamus and Jeff Hardy at Extreme Rules 2021

Damian Priest has been a fighting champion since his win at Summerslam 2021. The United States Champion was challenged by Sheamus and Jeff Hardy at Extreme Rules 2021. All the three men being so talented, the WWE Universe expected the three to tear each other apart and raise all the bars for a match at this level.

Priest was initially scheduled to face Sheamus at Extreme Rules but after Jeff Hardy accepted the champion’s open challenge on Raw, the WWE Universe wanted the charismatic enigma to be added to the United States Championship match. Hardy had one last obstacle in his way to get added to the match, Sheamus. But the charismatic enigma defeated the celtic warrior on Raw to officially get added to the United States Championship match.

Jeff Hardy had defeated Sheamus to get added into the match

The match started with Sheamus taking Hardy but down but the charismatic enigma and the archer of infamy then took the celtic warrior down with their power strikes. Sheamus then gained control over them after he drove Priest into the barricade and then took Hardy down with power strikes. He then delivered his famous punched on the chest of the champion when the latter reversed into.

Hardy tried to take Sheamus down with his athleticism but Priest interrupted following which, he dived into the two men. Sheamus then drove Hardy into the match and applied the boston crab. Hardy somehow reached the ropes when Priest took Sheamus down. The champion went for a DDT which was countered with an alabama slam.

Hardy then delivered twist of face to both Sheamus and Priest and then went for the swanton but Sheamus knocked him out from the top rope and delivered a knee to Priest. He again went to the top rope but this time Priest caught him and went for the cover but Hardy delivered the swanton. Sheamus the delivered the brogue kick to Hardy when Priest rolled him to get the win.
