Watch: A Young Village Boy From India Performs Pole Vault With Ease; Receives Support from all over the Country

After the successful conclusion of the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics, India is slowly seeing a new era for sports in the country. These were the most successful Olympics for India ever, with Neeraj Chopra’s gold medal in athletics, a bronze medal from the men’s hockey team, and an overall seven medals including one gold, two silver and four bronze.

The young and raw talent in the country is showcasing its talents everywhere, with the recent World U20 Athletics Championships producing good results for the young Indian team. The talent of these young athletes demands to be properly nurtured with good coaching and proper training and nutrition.

Recently a video of a young boy performing the pole vault in his village has gone viral, as the boy clears a respectable height with much ease. He is seen using just sticks for performing and has no mat for landing. The video orginally taken in December of 2020, has come to light after Neeraj Chopra’s historic gold medal has put Indian athletics in the spotlight.

Yet he managed to perform extremely well, and his potential with proper training can only be imagined. Many called for the support of this young boy, who could go on to be an Olympian and win a medal for India, while others talked about the need to properly nurture such talent.
