Real Madrid have been boosted by the arrival of their club captain Sergio Ramos for the lst few matches of the season. Zidane confirmed the news on the eve of Real Madrid’s next La Liga match against Osasuna.
Sergio Ramos suffered a calf injury during his time at the Spanish National team. The Los Blancos captain then tested positive for Covid-19 and had to isolate for 10 days.

The captain is now poised to return for the Champions League match against Chelsea. Real Madrid have already suffered 57 injuries this season but are still in with a chance to win 2 trophies this season.
After missing the last nine games in all competitions through injury, Ramos returned to full training on Friday and is available for selection for Saturday’s La Liga meeting with Osasuna.

He’s training with us and that means he’s able to play too,” Zidane told a news conference.
We’ll see what we do when we name the squad, but Sergio is fit and ready to play.”

Although Zidane hasn’t called Ramos up for the match against Osasuna tomorrow, it is a good sign for all Madrid fans that Ramos is returning to full fitness and will be available for the remaining stretch of the season.
