Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer to Juventus from Real Madrid has not worked out well so far. The Portuguese star, who won 3 consecutive Champions league titles from 2016-18 at Madrid has failed to make the semi-finals since his move to Juventus.

Juventus were knocked out of the Champions League by Porto on away goals in the last-16 stage of the competition earlier this week. It has led to rumours Ronaldo could leave Turin this summer. Ronaldo’s contract at Juventus is due to end next summer and a potential return to Madrid can might on the cards.

Zinedine Zidane spoke to the media regarding Madrid’s stance on a potential return for Ronaldo. Real Madrid have had problems in attack since his departure and his arrival can boost their chances of winning the Champions league and La Liga.

Zidane left the door open for his arrival but claimed that he would be costly in the current financial scenario.

He said , “You know what Cristiano Ronaldo means for Real Madrid. You know the affection we have for him at Real Madrid. What he did here was magnificent.”

“Right now he’s a Juventus player and he’s doing really well there. I can’t say anything about all the many things they say. I can only say that he is a Juventus player and we have to respect that.”

According to multiple reports from El Chiringuito and MARCA, Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has already held conversations with Los Blancos for a potential comeback.
