Did Drake just add an extra layer of excitement to the upcoming Wild Card matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens, or has he inadvertently cast his infamous curse upon the Ravens?

Drake making headlines with his bets isn’t anything new as he is often seen as the most active bettor in the hip-hop scene, particularly when it comes to sports events. However, the Ravens’ fans aren’t too thrilled about such huge support from the giant hip-hop artist. They highlighted the “curse” he seems to have when it comes to betting on sports teams.

Drake’s infamous curse is a supposed belief among the fans, who shift the blame from the team to the rapper for the loss of the teams he often bet on. They believe the team he bets on ends up losing and that’s why, all over the social media Baltimore fans are slamming him for not betting on the Steelers if he wanted the Ravens to win.

Can Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry break Drake’s infamous curse?

Given the way quarterback Jackson and running back, Derrick Henry have steered the Ravens to 12 wins and secured the divisional title this season, this might be the moment when Drake’s curse finally comes to a proper end. Although the Ravens have been in the position before, the difference about his season is the star running back Henry.

You can put anybody by Lamar, and they’re going to have a hell of a year. It’s just the type of player that he is. My success shouldn’t knock his, or vice versa.

Derrick Henry said to credit Jackson for his success this season, in a conversation with Ravens Vault’s Sarah Ellison

Whenever Jackson has stumbled on the field, Henry has consistently been his strongest support. Together the two posted the highest rushing yards in the NFL’s history with 2,836 yards. Despite the absence of Zay Flowers in the Wild Card game, having Henry has reduced the pressure on Jackson’s shoulders.
