Iconic musician Drake has emerged as a messiah for historic Italian club, Venezia FC as he has raised $40 million to keep the club afloat. Not only did he just garner the money for the club to keep on sailing despite being on the cusp of bankruptcy, but he also helped them sign a sponsorship deal with his NOCTA line at NIKE.

As per GQ Italia, the Canadian rapper proved to be a pivotal source to ensure the fact that the club wasn’t relegated to Serie D, the fourth division of Italian football. Drake pulled this off while working all the way alongside Venezia co-owner, Brad Katsuyama to raise the aforementioned sum and ensure the fact that the legacy-rich outfit in Italy continued to deliver.
