Angel Reese may have some of the best marketing surrounding her in all of sports, period. Ever since becoming a household name from her days at LSU, Reese has gone from strength to strength to secure some of the biggest sponsorships and brand collaborations. Her latest collaboration will be another star to her resume as Reese is all set to become the brand ambassador for McDonald’s.
On Thursday, Angel Reese took to social media for a special announcement for her fans. She will collaborate with McDonald’s in an unprecedented partnership as the brand’s first-ever female athlete brand ambassador. As part of her collaboration, Reese is set to launch her own special meal on the McDonald’s menu.
Reese’s collab meal with McDonald’s will include a BBQ Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese topped with a new BBQ sauce, french fries and a drink. This is not the first time that McDonald’s has collaborated with an NBA star, with perhaps their most iconic collaboration being their 1993 ad spot featuring Michael Jordan and Larry Bird.

This marks another historic collaboration for Angel Reese, adding to her long list of big-name sponsorships. She is already under contract with Reebok for her shoe and merchandising deal and is an ambassador for REESE’S candies, the iconic candy of her namesake. She adds the $260 billion fast food tycoon to her portfolios across sports.
Angel Reese opens up about landing her ‘dream’ collaboration
Having McDonald’s as one of your partners is an amazing profile to have on your portfolio. But Angel Reese’s latest collaboration means a lot more than just another addition to her outstanding list of sponsorships. In an interview with People, Reese opened up about her childhood fascination with McDonald’s and how she would save up money to buy herself her favorite fast food.
That wasn’t all for her, though. The childhood fascination of Angel Reese with McDonald’s would extend further into life, as she dreamed of making the iconic McDonald’s All-American team in high school. The game, which has featured greats like Kobe Bryant and Breanna Stewart in the past, would unfortunately allude Reese, as the 2020 and 2021 games would be cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Now, over a decade since her initial fascination with McDonald’s started, Angel Reese is set to become an ambassador with her own meal in the world’s largest fast-food chain. Strength to strength is truly the only way to define the success of the Chicago Sky star.
