Clash at the Castle will take place this Saturday at the OVO Arena in Glasgow, Scotland. As usual, WWE has lined up a strong five-match card for the upcoming PLE. Following the trend of international events, four Scottish-born wrestlers are set to take part and will all have the support of a rabid crowd.

The main event of Clash at the Castle will most likely be the World Heavyweight Championship bout between Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre. Meanwhile, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defend the women’s tag titles against the teams of Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark, and The Unholy Union. Piper Niven will challenge Bayley for the Women’s Championship as well.

Sami Zayn will look to put an end to Chad Gable‘s actions in an Intercontinental title bout. Furthermore, Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles battle it out in an “I Quit Match” for the Undisputed WWE Championship. With a stacked card, fans can expect a few swerves from WWE. Having said that, here are the three predictions for Clash at the Castle:

The Creed Brothers finally join forces with Chad Gable

Since Chad Gable turned heel in April, fans have been anticipating the formation of a new faction. Drawing parallels with Team Angle, many are speculating that the Olympian will form a similar group with The Creed Brothers. As such, WWE has teased the former NXT Tag Team Champions joining forces with Gable for weeks. Meanwhile, Otis is close to finally snapping on his manipulative leader, which would mean the implosion of The Alpha Adacemy.

Therefore, it is likely that it will all come to fruition this Saturday at Clash at the Castle. If the former Money in the Bank winner leaves his master, The Creed Brothers could end up replacing the academy right there. More importantly, Gable would finally dethrone Sami Zayn and get his hands on the coveted Intercontinental Championship.

The Unholy Union walk out as Women’s Tag Team Champions

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn will be walking into home territory in their triple-threat tag team title match. Well, they could be walking out with the championships intact. Although the addition of The Unholy Union was most likely down to giving them a match in front of their home crowd, WWE can shock fans by pulling the trigger on the Scottish duo.

Moreover, it might be the reason why a triple-threat match has been preferred. The Stamford-based promotion can be looking to not only crown new champions but also to protect the current holders, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. Therefore, this result could be one of the biggest swerves WWE may pull on the night.

CM Punk inadvertently helps Drew McIntyre become World Heavyweight Champion

Without a doubt, the most anticipated clash of the night is the World Heavyweight Championship main event. After months of waiting, Drew McIntyre will finally receive the opportunity of a lifetime. However, The Scottish Warrior must be wary of one huge obstacle in his path to glory: CM Punk. Since the latter’s return to WWE, McIntyre has taken every chance to verbally and physically provoke him.

Taking all of this into account, this is the perfect opportunity for Punk to screw his adversary over. That being said, The Second City Saint’s plan could easily backfire on him. With no Judgment Day at ringside, he could inadvertently help McIntyre win by ‘accidentally’ laying out Priest instead. More importantly, the Scot might walk out as champion and blow a kiss to the Best in the World, similar to Punk’s moment at Money in the Bank 2011.
