This week’s SmackDown is set to feature the aftermath of the electrifying Survivor Series event. With Saturday Night’s Main Event being the next huge stop, WWE could be gearing up for massive moments tonight on SmackDown featuring Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and even LA Knight.
From a massive return to an OG Bloodline member being hospitalized, tonight’s SmackDown could set the tone for the rest of the month ahead of the year-end. Moreover, WWE has announced the Women’s United States Championship tournament quarterfinals for the show.
Here are the three bold predictions for this week’s SmackDown:
1) The Bloodline sends Jimmy Uso to hospital
The Bloodline suffered a massive defeat at Survivor Series at the hands of Roman Reigns and The OG Bloodline. However, tonight on SmackDown, Solo Sikoa could seek revenge against The OTC. In order to dismantle the alliance of Reigns, Sikoa could destroy Jimmy Uso at the beginning of the show.
Sikoa, along with his enforcer Jacob Fatu, could take down Uso in a brutal planned assault. This attack could force WWE to hospitalize the 39-year-old, leading to his exit from The Bloodline story for a while. More importantly, it could also pave the way for the singles match between The Needle Mover and the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief.
2) Logan Paul returns on WWE SmackDown
Logan Paul has been absent from WWE since losing the United States Championship at SummerSlam. However, he could make his highly anticipated return tonight. Speculation is swirling that he may target his archrival, LA Knight, seeking revenge for their past encounters.
The Maverick is anticipated to play a key role on Raw as it transitions to Netflix. As such, making his return tonight can potentially set up future storylines. Additionally, Paul and Knight could collide in a heated confrontation to establish dominance, especially after The Defiant One’s hard-fought loss to Shinsuke Nakamura at Survivor Series.
3) Elektra Lopez pulls off shocking win in tournament
WWE has been gearing up to crown their first-ever WWE Women’s United States Championship. Tonight’s SmackDown is set to feature a qualifying match involving Tiffany Stratton, Naomi, and Elektra Lopez. However, the Legado Del Fantasma member could shock the world by pulling off a massive upsetting victory.
While Lopez was anticipated to have a significant impact on the main roster, her call-up has fallen short of expectations. WWE could reignite her momentum tonight by securing her a victory over established stars like Naomi and Stratton. A win could thrust the 32-year-old into the spotlight, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in her career.
