3 hilarious unfiltered moments of LeBron James during Stephen A Smith beef
LeBron James chose to take matters into his own hands after sitting down with famous podcaster Pat McAfee for an interview.

Stephen A. Smith and LeBron James
People in the sports industry are discussing the LeBron James–Stephen A. Smith altercation, which has been making waves in and around the NBA. However, the beef took another toll when James sat down with Pat McAfee to open up about this situation. James provided a clear view of his side regarding the beef with Smith.
This came after Smith’s multiple videos addressing the James-Smith courtside interaction. In all of this, James did aim a few jabs at Smith. It’s safe to say that the NBA fans found it way too hilarious. So let us take a look at 3 hilarious unfiltered moments of LeBron James during the Stephen A. Smith beef:
1. LeBron James’ Instagram post:
The ESPN talking head extended his attack toward the NBA superstar in a new episode of his podcast as if his spat with LeBron James was not already exhausting enough. Smith boldly implied during his rant that if James had “put his hands” on him when he confronted him during a Lakers game at the Crypto.com Arena, he would have gotten payback by “swinging on him.”
Now, James who is in the final phase of his career, seems unbothered. But this time he did choose to respond to Smith, but in his unfiltered way. The Lakers star took to his Instagram to troll Smith via an exclusive video of Smith. In the post, Smith can be spotted practicing boxing with his trainer. James captioned the post: “Whomp Whomp Whomp with loads of laughing emojis.”
This surely sent the NBA community into fits as many of them reacted to James’ post. James is known for his funny nature on and off the court. If someone chooses to criticize him, the King won’t back down and instead offer a fitting reply if he wishes to do so. Smith just got a taste of this.
2. LeBron James compared Stephen A. Smith to Taylor Swift
One of the most common narratives of this NBA season has been the ongoing feud between ESPN talk show host Stephen A. Smith and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. It started when Smith begged James “as a father” to end the Bronny James ‘project’ in Los Angeles following the rookie’s challenging performance versus the Philadelphia 76ers on First Take.
Since the altercation on the floor, James had not publicly acknowledged the event. However, he eventually did so on Wednesday’s Pat McAfee Show, where he launched into a hilarious tirade on how he views the entire back and forth, and made a ‘crazy’ comparison in the process.
“
LeBron James said
He’s like on a Taylor Swift tour run right now. It started off with ‘I didn’t wanna address it, I wasn’t gonna address it, but since the video came out, I felt the need to address it.’ Are you kidding me? If it’s one person that couldn’t wait till the video would drop so you could address it, it is your a**. He completely missed the whole point. Never would I ever not allow people to talk about the sport or criticize people about what they do on the court.
James went on to say that he confronted Smith for other athletes as well, not just his own son. In addition, he forecast that the sports media would be “smiling from ear-to-ear” at the chance to report on his further remarks on the matter.
3. LeBron James hilariously mocked ESPN reporter Brian Windhorst
LeBron James is well and truly on rampage mode this 2024-25 NBA season. Firstly, on the court. Now, off it, with his recent jabs towards Stephen A. Smith on the Pat McAfee show. However, Smith was not the only one who faced James’ wrath. ESPN reporter Brian Windhorst was also in the mix as James left an unfiltered remark towards him.
I’ve seen Brian Windhorst on his shows not too long ago. This guy says he’s like my f**ing best friend. These guys are just weird.

For decades, Windhorst has been covering James. In addition, he has always been a long-time admirer of the Lakers star. It’s safe to say that the ESPN reporter did not see this coming. Now, it remains to be seen whether or not Windhorst addresses James’ remark in the upcoming days.
